Mouthguards

Protecting your smile while playing sports is essential — even if you do not have braces. Mouthguards help protect your teeth and gums from injury. Use of a properly fitting mouthguard can also reduce the risk of concussion. If you participate in basketball, boxing, hockey, football, gymnastics, lacrosse, martial arts, racquetball, rugby, track and field, skateboarding, skiing, snowboarding, skydiving, soccer, surfing, volleyball, water polo, weightlifting, or wrestling, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends that you wear a mouthguard.

Team Mouthguard

Our staff at Bull Mountain Orthodontics takes the health of our local athletes seriously. In an effort to support our community, we have teamed with Excel Orthodontics Laboratory, a locally owned dental laboratory, to provide custom fitted mouthguards to our area athletes. We can provide custom mouthguards to anyone interested; however, we have set up a great opportunity for our local youth — Team Mouthguard.

By signing up your entire youth athletic team with our Team Mouthguard program, Bull Mountain Orthodontics will provide athletes ages 15 and under on your team with the best fitted mouthguards possible — at no cost to you. With our partnership, Bull Mountain Orthodontics donates the staff and supplies to collect a custom impression of each athlete's upper teeth. By providing all the athletes' mouthguards at one time for fabrication, Excel Orthodontics Laboratory has agreed to reduce the cost of each custom-made mouthguard. Bull Mountain Orthodontics will donate the cost, resulting in free mouthguards for your entire team!
